Just a quick reminder that the Screencapped Galleries begin to shut down in approximately 24 hours. There will be some minor downtime while we switch to our new hosting platform, we will post updates as we have more information.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for all your support over the past six years, we look forward to many, many more!

Hi Lovely Followers :)

Just a request / announcement -

Please do not send messages to our staff members on their personal blogs asking them questions about screencaps (can you screencap this, when will you update this, etc). If you have screencap related questions they are to be sent to the Screencapped Tumblr, via our ask box or our chat box.

1. Please first check our Schedule to see if the TV show or Movie is assigned to a staff member.


2. If the TV show or Movie is not listed: You can submit a request by registering an account on our Zips Board and visiting the Request Thread.


3. If the TV show or Movie is assigned to a staffer: You can see information on the schedule such as whether it will be completed as backlog (once the whole season has aired), whether it’s being updated weekly or if the staffer is on hiatus / late with caps.

Many of our staff members have been extremely busy with personal lives (family, work, school etc). We know you want updates as soon as possible and we strive to do this, however, please remember this is a hobby which we do in our free time (which unfortunately is a little low at the moment).

Every gallery will be completed at some stage. If we have an ETA or are currently updating we will let you know, if not, please be patient.

Screencapped.net Galleries Closing

We are really sad to say that Screencapped.net will be closing all of our TV and Movie Galleries over the coming days. As most of you know, the past year has been quite hectic for me and my financial situation has changed drastically. While we’ve taken a few donations in the past to help with the costs of running Screencapped.net, we’ve always wanted to pay for the site as much as possible by ourselves. Unfortunately this just isn’t an option anymore.

We’ve had an amazing run, opening June 2012 with only a handful of staff members and slowly growing bigger and better each year. We’ve had many different staff through out the five years, each dedicating their personal time to provide screencaps of various movies and tv shows for our visitors. We’ve also received the most amazing support and kind words from the community and we are extremely grateful.

What’s next?

While the galleries are closing, we will be continuing to provide zip downloads of screencaps for movies and TV shows, both new and old. More information on this will be available over the next few days so be sure to follow us on Tumblr, Twitter and LiveJournal for our next update. The galleries will officially close as of 31 August 2017 (updated: 27/07/2017) so please feel free to browse them until then.

We are looking for people who are interested in capping part-time (one or two TV shows) and full-time (multiple TV shows, movies & backlogs). We have many TV shows in need of staff as well as movies and backlogs. (Information below!)
